We offer an add-on to the regular BNI regional site that allows chapters to have their own Toolbox. The Toolbox pricing is just $25 per chapter per month, paid annually it's $300.

Listed below are the tools available. The Secretary/Treasurer of the BNI chapter has the choice to purchase the Toolbox on their menu.

  • Online Meeting Invite - This tool allows you to email a visitor a BNI postcard. Your region will have put in some information for you to work with. There is a graphic postcard at the top that is provided by the region and is the same for all chapters.

    Click here for a finished example or send one to yourself after purchasing the toolbox so you can see what it looks like.

    There are two screens. On the first one you select your name from the drop down. Type in your visitor's name in the next box. Make sure you use proper capitalization for the best effect. You can choose your visitor's profession in the next field, and the last one is for their email address. If you don't type this correctly a bounce message will come back to the sender's email address.

    Click Next. On this page you can leave the text the way it is, change things, and add your own message to the visitor.


  • View Speakers - Add/Edit/View speakers; here you can choose to view past or future speakers. Future speakers are automatically shown on your web page. Executive Directors, Assistant Directors and Ambassadors also show on this list so you can show them as speaking. A list of all speakers for the region can also be displayed at a regional level.


  • Edit Speakers - STs can add/edit/delete speakers. The schedule is then displayed at the bottom of the Chapter Page.


  • Speaker Reminders - An email is sent to the speaker 6 days before and includes their bio and a reminder to update it. A second reminder is sent 3 days before. An email is also sent to the ST with the speaker's bio so they can print it and bring it to their meeting.


  • Personal VP Report - Choose your name and start and end dates for the time you want to see your referrals, attendance and dance cards, by week.


  • Substitute List - (only available in select regions) Add/Edit/Delete substitutes. You can list members from other chapters that regularly sub for your members or you can add outside people to the list.


  • Member Success Attendance - Shows all your active members and the dates they attended Member Success. Contact your regional office if the dates are not correct.


  • Member Bios - Add/Edit/Delete member bio information for the ST to use to introduce the speaker each week. There is a printable version for the ST to use at the meeting. The last date the information was changed is also tracked. Click on Enter New Bio or Edit next to your name, make any additions or changes, click Save.


  • Meeting Notes Report - Gives you a roster list with every member's name, company and a blank line for you to print out and take to your meeting so you can keep track of what referrals people are looking for this week. Many members keep a 3-ring binder of their notes.


  • 1 to 1 or Dance Card Tracking
    Who have you danced with recently? Who haven't you met one-on-one yet? Take advantage of this handy tracking tool. Easily see who's met one-on-one, and when they met.

    • Individual members can enter Dance Card information- just enter the date and pick the two members who met from the handy drop-down list of your chapter members.

    • View a cross-referenced chart showing who met when.

    • By clicking on your name on the chart, you can see a list of who you've met with and who you haven't. Both lists include the phone number and email link (where available).


    For convenience, a cross-reference chart and report can be printed to take to your meeting.


  • Thank You For Closed Business
    Track BNI Bucks with Thank You cards from the recipient of a referral to the giver of the referral. See who your chapter's Givers are. Track BNI Bucks - with Thank You cards:

    • A Thank You card is sent from the member receiving the referral, to the member who gave the referral

    • The closed sale amount is credited to the member who gave the referral.


    Run a report by date, showing the true Givers in your chapter.


  • BNI Game Tool - This tool allows your chapter to create teams, track scores, and print scorecards for the BNI Game.
    • Edit Points List - a text box where you put in what you are giving points for, and how many points they get for each item. This prints on the scorecard that you bring to the meeting.

    • Edit Groups - Set up two or more teams here.

    • Assign Groups - Assign each chapter member to their team.

    • Enter Scores - You enter each week's team total here.

    • Print Score Card - Print cards to take to the meeting.

    • View Scores - See how everyone is doing.

  • Chapter Home Page - View your page (See an example of a live chapter page at southmetro.bni-mn.com.)


  • Upload Member Photos - Add a photo to each member listing


  • Chapter Funds Tracking - A way to keep track of the kitty.


  • Chapter Library - Keep track of who has checked out what from your Chapter's library collection.


  • Set Chapter Home Page Password - Set this password and give it to someone in the chapter that would like to keep the Chapter Home Page updated. Otherwise only the Leadership Team has access to editing the page.


  • Edit Chapter Home Page - Fill in the fields with your headers and content. Upload pictures by using the browse button to select your file. Make sure you click Save Changes to finish the page.

    Geek notes: (Not necessary to make the page work and look nice, but if you know HTML and picture formatting you will want this information.) You can use HTML codes within the header and text boxes. For best results upload pictures already formatted for the page - 72dpi, Image A less than 200 pixels wide, Image B less than 400 pixels wide. If you use an HREF use single quotes, not double quotes.
